How about creating a zip archive file of all the installed apps on your Android and flashing it directly from the recovery after installing the app? It sounds cool because you no longer need to download a backup app from the market to restore them. Plus, the restoration process is quicker than conventional methods.
Creating Flashable Update File
App2zip is an app for Android that creates a flashable update.zip file for all installed apps. The app requires root access on your phone, but that’s not a problem if you have a custom recovery. After installing and running the app, it will ask for superuser (root) access. Once permission is granted, the app will list all installed apps and their data, with user apps listed first and system apps following.
To back up an app, choose it and tap Go. The app will create an update.zip file, which you can rename. To restore the app, simply flash the zip file with the custom recovery.
Note: In its early release phase, please test the app to back up and restore a single useless app before you trust it with all your apps. The app worked on my One X, and I hope it does for you too.
