Create Slideshow of Desktop Wallpapers in Windows 7

Windows 7 introduced the option to create a desktop wallpaper slideshow. This feature is available in all versions higher than Windows 7 Basic and allows you to display random wallpapers at specific intervals.

Activating this feature in Windows 7 is a great idea. I recently enabled it and it’s refreshing to see a new wallpaper each time I check my desktop.

To activate the desktop slideshow feature in Windows 7, simply right-click on the desktop and select “Personalize.”

When you click on the desktop background link, you can select or de-select wallpapers. At the bottom, you’ll see the slideshow option. It’ll be grayed out until you select more than one image. Select two or more images by clicking on them or click the “Select All” button to select all the wallpapers.
