Customize Your Android’s Navigation Bar with This Cool App
If you aren’t familiar with Android and its customization options, you might be living in the stone age. We recently discussed how to set GIFs as wallpapers and various customization options for Android. Today, we are focusing on transforming the Android Navigation bar and giving it a new look.
The nav bar can be boring at times. Unlike icon packs, widgets, or wallpapers, the nav bar has fewer colorful features. Luckily, the Play store has many new apps, including the Navbar app.
Without wasting any more time, let’s explore what the Navbar app offers.
Navbar Apps allows you to fully customize the Android navigation bar. It creates a colorful and unique screen overlay at the bottom of your screen. Even better, no root access is required. This app offers a multitude of features without any cost.
The app highlights its feature that changes the color of the navigation bar based on the active app. Zomato has a red nav bar, while Facebook has a blue one. To enable this feature, the navigation bar settings must be turned on. If you don’t like the changing colors, you can choose a static color. Additionally, you can customize the colors for specific apps by tapping the cog icon above the active app icon.
The colorful background alone is already a convincing reason to get this app. The Navbar widgets not only allow you to navigate between pages and apps, but also serve as a battery percentage indicator. The following screenshots should confirm this.
You can customize the battery settings — size, color, and transparency — to your liking.
Moving on, Navbar Apps allows you to add images under the navigation bar. You can choose from a range of images, from plain vertical rainbows to ones with cherries.
The premium version offers themes like Spiderman and gives users the opportunity to contribute to designs and ideas.
4. Add a Smile
Adding emojis to your nav bar can bring a smile to your face. Developer Damian Piwowarski offers the option to add emojis to the nav bar, with four default choices available.
The good news is that you can choose from a variety of emojis, including smiling faces or cute animal faces. You can customize everything, such as the spacing and size of the emojis, according to your preferences.
The music widget is the final feature to mention. It provides music visualization in the nav bar, allowing customization of the style, color, and size of the music bars.
Go ahead and get a colorful insight into your smartphone. The thing I liked about this app is that all five features can be enabled at once. Though it can crowd the nav bar a bit, it helps bring a unique look. Bid goodbye to the boring nav bar and bring about an awesome transformation.
