How to Open Multiple Links at Once in Firefox and Chrome
Suppose you find a webpage with too many links and you want to open some in new tabs. The time-consuming method is to click each one individually. However, we have a more efficient solution to share with you.
We will discuss extensions for Firefox and Chrome users that allow you to open multiple links simultaneously (apologies to Internet Explorer users).
How to Open Multiple Links at Once in Firefox
In Firefox, there are two main add-ons for this purpose – Snaplinks and Multilink. Here’s how to use them.
Snaplinks
Snaplinks for Firefox is a useful addon that allows you to open multiple links at once. You can also copy or bookmark the links.
1. Download and install this extension, then restart your browser.
2. Go to any webpage and select the area with multiple links by dragging the mouse pointer with the right button. A rectangle with a green border will appear, and the links within this rectangle will be highlighted with a red border.
When you release the mouse button, all the links will open in new tabs. See the screenshot below for an example from my Twitter stream, with the included links highlighted in red.
To move the selection area, hold the Alt key while moving the mouse. Pressing the Esc key will cancel the selection area.

Multilink
Multilink is more advanced than Snaplinks because it comes with extra features. The process for selecting links is the same as in Snaplinks – hold the right mouse button and draw a rectangle around the links.
To cancel the selection, press the esc key on your keyboard or the left mouse button.
To open the preferences panel, go to Tools-> Addons-> Multilink. Here, you can customize Multi links by selecting colors, link color, box style, border styles, and more.
How to Open Multiple Links at Once in Chrome
Snaplinks is available for Google Chrome browser. Another useful extension that helps open multiple links in Chrome is Linky.
Linky extension
Linky extension is a user-friendly Chrome add-on. Download and install it on your browser to start using. A small linky icon will appear on the extension bar. Afterwards, go to any page and highlight links with the left mouse button. Finally, click on the linky icon to activate it.
All links will open in new tabs of Chrome.
