How to Connect Your Spotify Account to Your Discord

By connecting Spotify to Discord, users can share their music preferences. Friends can see what you’re listening to and even listen together by viewing your Discord profile. This feature is available to both Free and Premium users. Here’s how to connect your Spotify account to Discord:
Assuming you already have the Discord app installed on your PC, you can connect your Spotify to your Discord account by following these steps:
Step 1: Open the Discord app on your PC or log in to your Discord account from a web browser.
Step 2: Click on User Settings, represented by a gear icon, at the bottom left of the app.
Step 3: Under User Settings, click on Connections.
Step 4: On the Connections page, click on the Spotify logo.
Step 5: Login or Sign up to Spotify, and your Spotify account will be connected to your Discord account.
To include your Spotify activities on your profile, toggle the button to Display on your profile.
Step 7: Display your Spotify activities on your status by clicking the toggle button.
Step 8: Click Esc to close User Settings.
Step 9: Check your Spotify connection by clicking on your display image at the bottom of the Discord app. You will see what you are listening to on Spotify.
Free and Premium Spotify users can play music and display it on their Discord profile. However, only Premium users have access to the group listening feature. To share a podcast or song with your friends, you must have a Spotify Premium subscription.
Here’s how you can connect Spotify to your Discord account on an iPhone:
Step 1: Open the Discord app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Tap on the user settings icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. It looks like a gear.
Step 3: In the settings menu, tap on “Connections.”
Step 4: Scroll down and tap on the Spotify icon.
Step 5: A prompt will appear asking for permission to connect your Spotify account to Discord. Tap on “Agree” to continue.
Step 6: You will be redirected to a Spotify login page. Enter your Spotify username and password, then tap on “Login.”
Step 7: After successfully logging in, you will be redirected back to Discord. Here, you can choose the level of access you want to grant to Spotify on Discord.
That’s it! Your Spotify account is now connected to your Discord account on your iPhone. You can now listen to music and share what you’re listening to with your Discord friends.

How to Connect Spotify to Discord on Android
To connect your Spotify to your Discord account using your Android: Tap the Discord app to launch it.
Step 2: At the bottom right of Discord, tap your avatar to open the Settings menu.
Step 3: Scroll down Settings menu, tap Connections.
Step 4: Tap Add at the top of the Connections page.
Step 5: Tap Spotify from the listed apps.
Step 6: Login or sign up to Spotify with your details and your account should show up under Connections.
Step 7: Include your Spotify activities on your profile by tapping the toggle button to Display on profile.
Step 8: To include Spotify activities on your status, toggle Display Spotify as your status.
