How to Connect Netflix to Google Home on iPhone and Android
The Google Home app allows you to control your devices with your Google account. These devices include Smart Speaker, Nest Hub, Video Doorbell, Android TV, and more. You can link services for watching videos and listening to music or podcasts on your Google devices using the Google Home app.
Netflix provides a service that allows you to link your Netflix account to Google Home on both your iPhone and Android devices. To do this, make sure you have the latest version of the Google Home app.
Why You Should Link Netflix to Google Home
If you have multiple devices linked to your Google account, managing them manually is difficult. The same applies to owning multiple TVs at home and getting confused between different remotes before watching your favorite Netflix episode. By connecting your Netflix account to Google Home, you can use voice commands to start watching Netflix on your Android TV. Make sure your Android TV supports Chromecast and that you have a Smart Speaker with Google Assistant support.
You can ask Google Assistant to control Netflix actions such as play/pause, skip or rewind episodes, and turn on captions. Google’s voice-activated speaker will recognize your command and execute it on your Android TV.
